From the forthcoming "Friends or Foes" from Magnum Opus Press. After a long break from black and whites I really enjoyed these a great deal. And I think it shows a little bit.
The brief was actually more complicated than simply three-people-on-a-page stuff: each of the figures needed to be done in such a way that they could be cropped out of the main piece and used as a spot illo of undetermined size. Jon has, as usual, produced work that's absolutely what I wanted.
Nice! The first one is my favourite. I like the slightly foggy atmosphere and the faces!
